About the author
Dr. Tamara Winslow was born outside a small farm community in northwestern Iowa. She grew up with a love for learning and from a young age demonstrated a wide variety of talents and intellectual prowess. She loved and excelled in the study of the sciences, law, literature, music, and the arts, and to this day she continues to research issues related to those topics. Having served God since a very young age, singing in church services, she went on to minister in a full-time capacity since 1978.

Doctorate of Theology in 2006 Summa Cum Laude

Dr. Winslow is in constant demand internationally as a speaker in many sectors of society and religious organizations including nationally and internationally based business organizations, government and law organizations, Christian fellowships, mission organizations, Bible colleges and church groups. She specializes in evaluating problematic issues and explains to teachers, government leaders, educational leaders, business people and ministers how to address a wide assortment of contemporary concerns. Her counsel is valued because of her breadth of wisdom and insight.
Dr. Winslow has also received many years of private tutoring and professional training in classical and contemporary vocal music, becoming accomplished in classical, folk, pop, and contemporary styles of Christian music. She is an accomplished pianist and musical composer, having written over 7000 songs. She has recorded 15 original recordings released internationally.
Dr. Tamara Winslow is also the founder of the Institutes for Biblical Truth (1990) and Sword and Song Ministries (1980). These Institutes courses offer an intense, immersion style, compressed college-level training program that provides biblically based education designed to school young leaders alongside mature leaders in Christian life skills so to affect their arenas of vocation and society. Over 800 international students have completed the Institute courses. having attended the Main Level One 3.5-week courses, and various levels of the 5–10-day seminars.
Dr. Winslow's ministry is a non-denominational work. A prolific author of biblical curriculum, she trains leaders in the arenas of biblical perspectives on healing and medicine, all categories of ministry, the arts, government, cultures, cross-generational studies (specifically Gen X and Y); international affairs and leadership.
Dr. Winslow was one of three General Co-editors for the Revival Study Bible assembling the two unique Key Study Chain Systems that coded and linked over 40,000 verses throughout the Bible on the 93 types of revival and the key subjects related to revival biblically writing extensive footnotes and theological comments in the work.
Dr. Winslow has earned a BA, MA and Doctorates in Theology, Philosophy and near to completing a Doctorate of Divinity, graduating Summa Cum Laude in all of her degrees from the Minnesota Graduate School of Theology in 2007 and 2008, 2011.

Dr. Winslow was awarded the "Mother to Nations-International Woman of the Year" 2006 by WIMN (Women's International Ministry Network) for her work in assisting and training international women in their various fields and occupations.
She has been married to Michael Winslow since 1980 and they presently live and base in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA
