Leslie M. Berry, Jr. was born on November 1, 1942, in Fodice, Texas. He is the second of seven children born to Leslie and Sabra Berry, Sr. Educated in the small community of Lovelady, Texas he graduated in 1961 and matriculated to Prairie View College and received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education, 1967 and a Masters of Education Administration in 1974 from Texas Southern University. Leslie married the love of his life, Mrs. Cecil Doris Davis - Berry of 50 years of marriage and they have four children from this union. Mr. Berry is a retired administrator from public school serving 37 years to the education of children. He resides with his wife in Houston, Texas.
