About The Author

Erica Rock was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana and started dancing at the early age of four years old. Her mom says she enrolled her in dancing initially to help with how shy and timid she was. Erica took to the stage and gained confidence early on and dancing truly shaped her into the person she has become. Throughout school she took many lessons at Tina Chauvin's School of Dance including competition and recreation. In May of 2005, Erica graduated from dancing and began working at the dance studio in August of 2005. Erica works along side Tina Chauvin now to share her love of dance and inspire young dancers in the Houma area. Together they teach a wide range of dancers starting as young as two years old. Tina Chauvin has owned the dance studio since 1977. Throughout her teaching career she has told many different stories of the Dance Fairy, and it has always been Erica's dream to write and publish the story they have told so many dancers over the years.
