Description

From Cortez the coins pass to Charles V who in turn gives them to Maximilian Hapsburg and Carlota, they in turn take them to the new Mexican Empire. Carlota gives them to a Gypsy attendant. From that point the coins move on and not in truth not know the until 1976 when one man makes the decision to go to Mexico to look for the treasure.

About The Author

My life for fifty years in the arts, pottery, painting and designing has led me to writting about my art. First a book about the lives of potters with all their flaws in a mystery suspence tbook titled "An Idol For Sheila Machen," filled wth twists and turns on a path of greed, drugs, murders and villains for a young greek potter seeking fame and fortune, only to end in tragedy. This book has been published . My current book , unpublished, "The Cortez Coins, " a tale of two coins, one gold the other silver wrought by a Mayan woman of great beauty and given to Hernan Cortez. The coins travelled to Spain and continued to pass into other hands wthout the real truth understood until the last. The secret was the discription of the site of the Great Repository of Moctezumas Treasure. I am still active in the arts, collected by museums and conitinue to write at a young age of 85.
