It has to be stopped. To maintain deniability and avoid open conflict with China, the US government surreptitiously contracts Jax Wilder to send a message to the Chinese and Mexican drug cartels. Jax is an independent contractor who is legendary for handling the most dangerous and difficult cases. But when he finds himself caught in a perilous web of political conflicts, dealing with the drug cartels isn't his only problem. Forced to face off against not only the MSS- Hong Kong's secret service- but dark operatives from the US as well. Jax soon realizes this might prove to be his greatest challenge yet.

Howard Cohen is a retired physician living in Surprise Arizona. He enjoys kayaking, golf, and spending time with his grandchildren. The Chinese Connection is his third book and the second in the Jax Wilder series. The Last POW published in 2021 was the first.
