Alphonse and Gaston, delegates from the Hamlet of Hobbits & Lilliputians, attended the convocation of jays known as The Grand Blueberry Jamboree where such matters as war and language were debated resulting in the resolution of Peace Through Obfuscation being defeated in favor of the retention of Peace With Respect. Alphonse and Gaston later recounted the jamboree's proceedings to their breakfast host, Poobah, after they returned to @ 15 in The Hamlet.

Description


Poobah, in the guise of Channing Kury, dutifully took notes as stenographically as possible for him considering his limited conversancy with jay talk. Those notes became known as Continuing Remarks on the Blueberry Policy Debates, which are now considered by connoisseurs as being on par with genuine French white burgundy for being as intoxicating as a lunch with Dorothy Parker at the Algonquin Hotel.
