Dan Feltham, born in Long Beach, CA in 1934 and raised in Southern California. Dan attended high school in South Pasadena and received a B.S. in Geology from Stanford University. After a year of graduate school at UCLA, Dan joined Fairchild Aerial Surveys as an exploration geologist on assignments to Sicily, Morocco, Libya and Iran. Dan then joined the IBM Corporation in Los Angeles in 1962 and held systems, marketing and management positions on assignments to Hawaii, Kwajalein, Guam, Southeast Asia, Saudi Arabia and Los Angeles. During his 25 years with 'Big Blue' he both traveled and sailed extensively. In 1988, Dan joined Coldwell Banker as a real estate salesman and has recently retired again to concentrate on a new career in writing. During all these years, cruising, racing and owning sailboats has been his avocation. During the '90s, Dan wrote a non-fiction book entitled, "When Big Blue Went To War", the story of 200 bachelor computer professionals in Vietnam during that war. A sailing/romance novel, "Trade Winds Calling" is currently available on e-pub reading devises. This novel, "The Catalina Connection" is his second work of fiction. Dan is happily married and living the quiet writing life in North San Diego County.
