About the author

James (Kramer) Dornbach has lived a hard life on a path to forgiveness. He suffered tremendous emotional and physical abuse and lost his baby sister at the hands of his father. He retains the horrific memories of her death. James lived in a barn for most of his childhood and learned to survive the isolation and neglect.  James became a deeply spiritual person, but has traversed a challenging road filled with twists and turns. Throughout the years, he has been thankful he has had people in his life that were "bright lights at the end of his tunnel" who supported him in his journey. He believes that no one should suffer like he and his siblings, and no child should live in the circumstances in which he lived. His goal is to help others be aware of the impact of child abuse, domestic violence, and PTSD. He also wants others to know that forgiveness is key. James currently lives a peaceful life in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, dogs, and nature.
