I, Penny Atkins Canada was raised in the 1950's. I was raised in a single parent household in Tacoma, Washington. My Mother raised six kids with my Aunt, helping out. The struggles I felt with my siblings and me in a modest home elevated a sense of my independence. My life journey is a testament of standing alone in the realm of adversity. My life had the ups and downs of childhood experiences, family drama, family dysfunctional rivalry and a life of so much love and fun. I cherish the moments of grand accomplishments and the tragedies of defeat in my adult years. I learned through my mistakes and I'm still alive to talk and divulge my personal secrets in this memoir. Reflecting on my life, I've had my share of challenges and triumphs. I appreciate all those who have been a part of my life journey and extend my heartfelt thanks to those who have been my friend.
