Taryn is a librarian who enjoys reading picture books to her own kids and the kids at her library. She and her husband have lived in their house for over a decade and have enjoyed getting to know their lovely neighbors. Her children and pup have gotten to know their neighbors through the years, as well. She hopes to encourage building community and relationships, because connection with others truly helps keep a person healthy in mind, body, and spirit.


About the Illustrator:

Laura Nelsen in an artist based in Norman, Oklahoma. Her work focuses on a variety of topics ranging from environmental and community to personal. She explores these subjects using painting and multimedia as her primary media.
