Daphne M. Gulland graduated with Honours in English and German at London University. She is the co-author of the long-selling ‘Penguin Dictionary of English Idioms’ and has also written ‘Bildliche Redewendungen – Englisch’ for the German publisher, Langenscheidt. She has written two other stories in easy English for children – ‘Wallpaper Whizzie’ and ‘Tinki and the Cloud Fairies’. Daphne M. Gulland is a member of the Society of Authors.
