Overview

Join Taylor, a thoughtful snowflake on a heartfelt journey of comparison and discovery. Longing to matter, she looks to the talents of her snowflake friends—graceful Chrissie, musical Mel, artistic Crystal, athletic Rudy and Frost, and many more—hoping to find her worth by becoming like them. But with gentle guidance from her Creator, Taylor learns that she was never meant to be anyone else. Her story leads to a snowy night in Bethlehem and a glimpse of Hope that reminds us all: like snowflakes, we are each uniquely designed for God's purpose and glory. A beautifully told tale of identity, wonder, and the joy of being exactly who we're made to be.

Description

Join the conversation with Taylor, the contemplative snowflake, and her Creator. Taylor is desperately longing to be and do anything of value. But feels hopeless in her search thinking she needs to be like someone other than who she is created to be. Through her comparison quest, you'll be introduced to some of her snowflake friends as Taylor points out their individually created giftings, talents, and skills. You'll meet Chrissie the graceful ballerina, musical Mel, Crystal the ice painter, playful athletes Rudy and Frost, Lacey the decorator and let's not forget the crucial, often unnoticed workers like Blanche, Demi, and Gwen. The Creator speaks gently into every comparison and leads her into the story of Hope. It is here that young readers will be taken back in time to a winter night in Bethlehem where you may just get a rare glimpse of dessert snow! Come take this hope filled journey of discovering how, like a snowflake, we are each uniquely tailored for God's purpose, plan, and glory!
