About the author
For as long as author Dustin DesLauriers can remember, his dad has been taking him on adventures into the woods. As a kid, he didn't understand it other than to say, "it's what we do." Since his youth, he has spent the majority of his time in some facet of training, instructing or leadership. As a veteran, a former firearms instructor, and a training manager, he has had many opportunities to perfect his ability to express learning moments through the written word. In this book, he plans to use those skills to guide you through his experiences in the woods as a young conservationist. Through these experiences he has developed his understanding and appreciation for life and a deeper understanding of his place in the circle of it.
