It is intended that they should both entertain and offer comparative insights to the darker side Tudor family life in all its complexities.
About the author
Joseph Block is Professor Emeritus at California State Polytechnic University where he taught from 1979 until 2009. He is author of Factional Politics and the English Reformation, 1520 – 1540 and contributing co-editor of State, Sovereigns & Society in Early Modern England. Joe has been an active member of the Conference on British Studies, serving as the Associate Executive Secretary for the National and a term as President of the Pacific Coast Conference. In addition, he is a charter member of the Huntington Library’s Early Modern English History Seminar where he delivered several of the stories contained in this present work.
