MERMAIDS ARE FRIGHTENING--AND REAL. And they are at war, a conflict that threatens even the land. This is what teenager Conor Oison Mortgan is only now learning. Even worse, Conor begins to discover how his own family is more intimately involved in the war than he could have imagined. However, through his friendship with a young Merrow girl, he may be the key to stopping a plot to bring the war to the land.
