About the author
I am the founder and CEO of M. Pruitt and Company. I began my journey ten years ago while on a religious expedition where I prayed for guidance. In my prayers I asked for a different way to help support my family. Two months after praying for a new direction, I was inspired, while sleeping, to write children books. In 2016 I retired after 45 years of developing and executing children programs and youth conferences. During my years of work, I was given opportunities to travel around the world. Through my travels I found one thing to be true, people want the very best for their children. After retirement I went back to the inspiration given to me in 2006, which was to write children books. I have now written three children books. In my books I incorporate parent's sentiment of wanting the best for their children. My three books are uniquely different. They are designed to be inclusive. I tell my stories through rhyme using adorable illustrations that capture and embrace differences.
