Francis Mattondo is a novelist/screenwriter who lives in New York City. He was a technical analyst for the communications industry before retiring to embrace his first love: creating meaningful stories for children! This is his second book. Socrates is a black cat who finds his reflection in a magical pond one morning. With the knowledge of language suddenly thrust upon him, he is full of questions that only people can answer. Hence, he begins his philosophical journey to answer the many questions rolling around in his furry little head. He speaks mostly to children as he travels the length of Leucadia in search of answers. He finds many different children and people, all of whom teach him something.
