About the author
Sybil Grissett believes in a realistic approach to financial literacy and is a steadfast believer in knowledge being essential for success. At an early age, her parents introduced her to concepts of personal financial management. She is a lifelong learner who holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Bethune-Cookman University and a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance from the University of North Florida. She also completed leadership training at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. Her career began as a Hospital Accountant, and she later worked for the federal government for 32 years. She has proudly worked as a certified fraud examiner, a certified master financial coach, an entrepreneur, an educator, an adjunct professor, an auditor, a community development specialist, a financial analyst, a senior account executive, and a community volunteer.
