Overview
In Sins of Deception, sailing instructor Kellie Montgomery once again finds herself swimming in a sea of mystery and murder . . .
Description
Sailing Instructor Kellie Montgomery once again finds herself swimming in a sea of mystery and murder. She is thrilled when her friends Paul and Sharon Crenshaw sign up for a trip with her brand-new charter business. But the voyage is not the cheerful reunion Kellie had hoped for. There is tension in the air as they sail toward home--and the trip ends on a decidedly sour note when Paul is arrested for murder. Paul is the last person Kellie would suspect of committing a crime. But a prostitute was found dead on a yacht registered in his name--and although he claims he's been framed, the incriminating evidence is hard to ignore. Soon Kellie realizes that there's a lot she doesn't know about Paul and his family--and that this is one case she won't be able to sail through . . .
About the author
Valerie Wilcox was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. A graduate of the University of Oregon, Wilcox was a teacher and management training consultant for over twenty-five years. Much like her Montgomery protagonist, Wilcox is a lifelong boating enthusiast. She and her husband David were living aboard their sailboat when she began her sailing mystery series. As the mother of three adopted daughters, Wilcox drew upon personal experience to help her character, Kellie, deal with her adopted daughter's search for her birth mother. Wilcox currently lives in Camas, Washington where she is working on Concierge Confessions, the first novel in her new mystery series.
