Description
In the beginning, Fae were once the rulers of all magical creatures and protectors of the forest. They were revered by all, even the humans considered them gods. The two species thrived together for millennia, the Fae taught humans many things during those peaceful years; including how to use magic with the aid of the Zythine crystal. Overtime, the humans and Fae procreated, thus bringing in a new species called Azures. The Azures looked mostly like a human with some discernable features that resemble the Fae. They had longer life-spans, were faster and stronger, and most importantly, Azures were able to wield magic. More and more Azures were born and became more powerful than their human counterparts. Some humans grew resentful against the Azures as they knew they could not surpass a certain level of magic and wanted control over the Azures as well as the Fae. A devastating war broke out between humans and Fae, which in turn impacted the balance of the entire world. Many died on both sides resulting in a rift across the realms. Whoever survived fled before they were caught to become slaves to the humans, the last of the Fae disappeared, many believed they were extinct but legend says that there is a city called Silver Stone Vale where these mysterious creatures may be hiding. Still a world divided 700 years later, a slave is born with a gift. That gift is using magic without a Zythine crystal. After being sexually assaulted and almost sold to her assailant, she escapes from her past in search of a new start where she meets a Prince with secrets of his own. His mother passed away when he was young, his father was assassinated and now there is a target on his back. When he discovers that she is a slave he befriends her and helps her overcome her past. Together, they overcome their ghosts that haunt them and maybe unite the Fae and Humans again.
