About The Author


Richard Pharaoh has been a professional photographer for over thirty years. He enjoys the adventure of photography in the natural world and venturing to remote locations. His love of storytelling has brought him to write his first novel, under the pen name RJ Maxwell, with some encounters loosely based on his actual experiences while being on the road. He currently lives in a small coastal community in Washington State with his wife and cats. She Was Here is Maxwell’s debut novel.
