Cassie Moran is at the peak of her career as a professional photographer with a driven personality that has left her with few close friends. She abruptly sells her business and embarks on a journey to rediscover her passion for photography, something she had been immersed in for years. Cassie is determined to take control of her destiny, all while concealing a dark secret. Seeking solitude and adventure, Cassie embarks on a road trip that will take her across the country, traveling to the High Sierra, the deserts of the Southwest, a mountain top observatory and a magical untouched secret landscape. The long days alone force her to confront her own past and personal misgivings. While on the road she encounters the best and worst of humanity along with the perils of being a woman alone in the wilderness. After a series of confrontations, Cassie becomes a reluctant social media personality, attracting unwanted attention which ultimately changes the direction of her journey.
