About the author
Ann Cannan has been an avid book-lover and overachiever from an early age: while in the first grade, she read 120 books! Since her 1957 graduation from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, she has added to her achievements, raising four children, teaching elementary school, sitting on the local school board, and serving as city councilman and mayor of Anderson, California. Since her retirement in 1998, Ann has enjoyed traveling, gardening, playing bridge, reading, sewing, playing the piano, and visiting with friends and family. Save That Cat!, Ann’s first book, is her recounting of an actual family event — turkey sandwich and all!
