Rocket Causes A Ruckus is a story for children about a dog named Rocket who causes a ruckus everywhere he goes. Rocket is sweet and silly and doesn't mean to cause the trouble he does! It is a delightful story, sure to warm your heart and the hearts of children everywhere.

Rocket Causes A Ruckus is the first in a series called "Aussie Dog Tails" which features stories about a number of different Australian Shepherd dogs and puppies that JD Blue has now or has had, owned or co-owned with breeders, friends and family. Each and every dog has a personality that is all their own. The dogs, and everything that happens around them, bring us some of our most joyful moments in life and some of the saddest tragedies we have ever faced in life. These stories are for them and about them and all of the friends made along the journey. Dogs truly are our best friends.

JD Blue has been a dog lover since a very young age. She dreamed of writing books about dogs & horses since she read the book "Black Beauty" as a child. JD attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in English in 1994. Her career as a marketing professional took her all over the world, including the opportunity to visit amazing places such as Vietnam, Italy, Greece and Amsterdam. JD Blue is from Michigan and currently lives in Holland, MI. She loves to spend time with her Australian Shepherds, who give her great joy, and her family. If JD is not working with one of her dogs you can find her with her dogs and her family on the shores of Lake Michigan.
