Rhyme Time

By Dr. Milo Sobel

Overview

Despite the playful title, this book is no simple compilation of "moon/June" rhyming exercises. Although a familiar couplet form is often employed, the rhyme schemes and writing, in general, are quite sophisticated. The style is most original, Moreover, Sobel has the rare gift of combining the humorous and serious or even poignant or touching.Variety and range of topics are impressive. Pieces about love, busines, psychiatry, (im)mortality and much more. Not to mention the poet's signature piece on the topic of originality, ("SHINE"). Simply put, If you dig poetry and want to read something fresh that will move you, you'll like this book alot. Give it a shot!
