About The Author

Mary Portalatin has been a hairstylist, receptionist, coffee bean salesperson, house cleaner, stay-at-home mother, and an addict. She has also been a counselor and confidant for those who are fighting through the same addiction battles she has been through. Through counseling, she found her love for writing. And after some encouragement, she made a personal commitment to write her own story. Mary lives in New Jersey with her partner, Joe. This is her first book. She is now working on her first book of fiction.
