Description

Raven Whisper encompasses four coming of age stories of young people in different times - even different eras. Though the stories are fiction, there are enough facts thrown in to arouse the interest of the discerning reader, just as these facts intrigued and fascinated the author. One of stories might be controversial to some as to some as it delves into the theory of cannibalism in the southwest of ancient times. There are anthropologists and archaeologists who study and support this theory and many who debate and criticize it. The author seeks to use fiction and his own knowledge of native American ancestorial sites, cliff dwellings, rivers and canyons to weave an interesting and entertaining story and chooses to leave arguments for or against cannibalism to the scientists. Two of the stories revolve around actual places near Flagstaff, Arizona where the author lives. Those places being called Mt. Elden and The Bottomless Pit. Another story centers around Payson, Arizona and is true western style fiction - with a twist.
