About the author
The author lived in the southwest all his life. He quit high school to work on a west Texas drill rig. He never saw either ocean until after he married. He loves to do wilderness and river trips in what spare time he had. After retirement, he and his wife of almost fifty years discovered other passions. His being writing and hers being their grandchildren.
