Prepared For The Journey

This book is about a city boy from Richmond, Virginia, and a country gril from Emporia, Virginia who were born the same year, the same month, just 5 days apart. From two walks of life, these two met at a small HBCU in the late 1950s and began a journey together that has stretched over a span of 60 plus years. From college students to becoming respected educators. From the chapel to their first apartment. From serving Uncle Sam to integrating a whole school system. From being club members to becoming multi-business owners. From being one-child parents to parenting Bobcats, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and an Eagle. From finding the Almighty to preaching the Gospel. This couple has had an unbelievable amount of life experiences, and they are continuing to make new memories as they move forward in their journey. They cannot and will not go without thanking, worshiping, and gving God all the Praise.
