About The Author

Native of Washington, DC, born in D.C. General Hospital on May 26, 1961 to David and Mary Smith. Raised in Foster Homes, joined the Army in 1979 and retired in 2005. Started writing Poetry at the age of 15 and have been blessed to do so until now. Because I believe in God and His son Jesus Christ, I have accepted my failures in life and am moving on to my higher calling. I cannot fix the issues that I caused in my past, but I have requested forgiveness, accepted it by faith and strive every new day to grow more in Christ.
