Alexander B. Williams, Jr, CFP, CLU, ChFC is a retired financial advisor of over 40 years from Danbury, Connecticut. From his humble beginnings as a life insurance agent, to having his own Allstate office, and eventually to opening his own Financial Planning Agency based in Christian values, Williams has helped thousands over the years to reach their wealth and estate planning goals. He received the 2021 Vern Hayden Lifetime Achievement Award from the Financial Planning Association for his long time significant contributions to the chapter and the profession. He is also a retired 10th degree black belt in Judo, Jujitsu and other disciplines of martial arts. He was the long standing president of the Minority Business Association of Greater Danbury, and board member of the NAACP. He is also a retired trustee, church pianist and organist of his hometown church Mt. Pleasant A.M.E. Zion Church. He is a retired long standing community service activist, volunteer and mentor.
