About The Author

My name is Katie Hughes I was born and raised in Bogalusa, LA. I am so thankful for this opportunity to share my heart with you. I am a wife and mother to three beautiful children who are our world. I love the Lord and I enjoy giving my testimony of what He has done in my life. In 2011, I was in a car wreck that paralyzed me from the waist down. Since then I have learned to lean on Him and trust His plan for my life. The handicapped world is often overlooked and I wanted to write something that our kids could learn from and see that even though other kids may not look like them, they are still just as important.
