Overview
Parted Waters is a first part of a fantasy novel that revolves around the world of two young girls. They are sisters, twins in fact, and they are princesses, daughters of a great female monarch with an unquenchable thirst for power who seeks to rule and dominate all the kingdoms that challenge her rule. The princesses choose different paths, one follows after love, the other after an ambition similar to her mother's, and the paradox of how identical they are in appearance but different in character ultimately determines both their destinies.
Description
Parted Waters is a first part of a fantasy novel that revolves around the world of two young women. They are sisters, twins in fact, and they are princesses, daughters of a great female monarch with an unquenchable thirst for power who seeks to rule and dominate all the kingdoms that challenge her rule. The princesses choose different paths. One follows after love, the other after an ambition similar to her mother's. The paradox of how identical they are in appearance but different in character ultimately determines both their destinies. And all around them Wiera Earth stirs. It is the world of the lands of the broken bowl, filled with distant places bound together in an invisible web that was woven in deeper, ancient times. The fallen bridges between the West and the South slowly reemerge from the rubble. Unbeknownst to them, the girls partake in a greater destiny beyond anything either of them could have ever imagined.
About the author
Natasha Ashwe's first steps into the world of writing was at the age of six when she wrote her first page long story titled 'The Flower Girl'. It was about a flower girl who wasn't quite a flower girl in the correct context of the term, but a Pollyanna who wandered around in flower gardens. Since then she's written more short stories, tons of poetry, and recently articles and essays on life, love and philosophy. The unusual twist to all her themes has become the definitive trademark of her writing style and she spins tales of mystery, fantasy and romance with colorful mind pictures and words that leave you properly charmed. Natasha likes red-orange sunsets, adores wine and chocolate, loves music, is addicted to being in motion, enjoys the dark, courts perfection, lives for beautiful people [inside and out] and 'dies' for beautiful moments. She is inspired by creative and talented, multi-faceted, real-life characters on earth.
