Papa's Garden

Papa's Garden is a book that contains a series of letters from a grandfather to his nine grandchildren. The author, being recently diagnosed with an ominous adult lymphoma, embarks on a project of drawing on his lifetime of experience as a physician and award winning gardener to share the important things he fears he may not be there in person to pass on. James Judge MD is a retired family physician and medical school professor at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. His career was cut short by the diagnosis of an adult lypmoma with a poor prognosis. He is an award winning teacher, master gardener, early AIDS activist, missionary physician, and international lecturer. He has three daughters and nine grandchildren. He splits his time between Chicago, Nashville and San Diego. At the time of this printing he is in full remission.
