Through her personal story, inspiring quotes, and practical suggestions, Judi shows us that cancer and fear are messages to us to make lifestyle changes. This supportive book can help the newly diagnosed cancer patient ask better questions, understand there are alternative and integrated treatments that can work, and most of all, maintain hope.

Description

Judi takes you through the stages of the cancer experience from Encountering the Dis-ease, Experiencing the Feelings, Making Treatment Decisions, Dealing with the Medical Community, Building Your mmune System, Making Lifestyle Changes, Reprogramming Your mind, Building a Positive Support System, Nourishing Your Soul, and Coming Out the Other Side a Happier and Healthier person.  Even though traveling the cancer road was a rocky and difficult journey, it was also rewarding. The path through cancer requires enormous discipline, work, and change, yet it is filled with excitement, experiences and discoveries which can bring us to a new and better place, if we are open to possibilities and stay focused forward.

About the author

Judi Moreo has had an incredible life. She has been a journalist, a secretary, a model, a finishing school and model agency owner, a professional speaker, an award-winning author, a corporate executive, an entrepreneur, a consultant, and a cancer survivor. She has always believed that “life is an adventure” and her adventurous nature has taken her to twenty-eight countries around the world. But all of her adventures have not been glamorous. Judi works, struggles, and perseveres. She is a real woman whose life isn’t sprinkled with pixie dust. She has learned to make things happen for herself, and she has shared much of that knowledge with you in this book. These are valuable lessons acquired throughout her life and on her journey through cancer. Around the globe, there are many women (and men) whose lives are a testimony to Judi’s personal and professional success. She is a prolific writer and an amazing public speaker, her programs and training sessions provide positive opportunities for more complete inner knowledge and personal fulfillment. It is no wonder that she has a collection of awards, but to her “life is not about the awards. It is about the reward of making a difference in another person’s life.” And that, she has done over and over and over again.
