Dan Peek was one of six children whose Family moved every 2 years or so to such exotic locales as Pakistan, Greenland, Japan and several Stateside postings before their Father a Colonel in the Air Force got orders to relocate to London, England.
The move to London was pivitol in that Dan met and played music with the Band that would soon choose the name AMERICA. Their meteoric rise took them to unimaginable heights after the release of their signature first album and the release of their mega-hit single, "Horse With No Name". The charts were buzzing with hit after hit such as "Ventura Highway", "I Need You", "Lonely People" and "Sister Golden Hair", "Today's The Day" and "Don't Cross the River", later recorded by Garth Brooks.
London is also where Dan met and courted his High School Sweetheart and the couple recently celebrated their 38th Anniversary.
