About the author
Brian Dziokonski, author of Straight from a Twisted Soul, was born and raised in Clinton, Massachusetts. The word that best describes his poems and prose is diverse. He considers himself a humorist, however, his collected works run the gamut from lighthearted to downright dark. One day, Brian was asked if writing was his pastime; he emphatically replied, "It's my passion! I don't write to pass the time; I write so time won't pass me by." When he isn't telling his grandson zany stories, or singing him goofy songs, he's busy cracking up his wife (mostly by being himself). Other than that, Brian persists on using an "out-dated" flip phone, whereupon he'll open it with urgency and say, "Beam me up, Scottie!"
