One of Two

As one of twin girls born to unstable parents toward the end of the Great Depression, Ginger struggled to find and maintain a normal existence despite the ups and downs of life with her twin and their mentally ill mother.  When alcohol and spousal abuse entered the picture, the girls were taken by their mother along with their younger sister, to an even less predictable existence in a different state.  Eventually they wound up in an orphanage when their mother was judged unfit to care for them, and were ultimately adopted. Ginger dealt with early marriage, motherhood, life on a farm, and divorce. Being one of her particular twosome was a special challenge. Ginger enjoys good health and now resides in a senior residence where she is an active participant in life there.
