One Lost Toy

We can become very attached to our favorite things. We like to hold them and plays with them and take them with us wherever we go. Sometimes if we lose a favorite thing, we can feel so sad. One way to help with that sadness is to imagine the happiness that thing might bring to another person when it is found.

Disconnecting or detaching from material items is hard for many people. Learning at a young age that a lost item can bring someone else joy or hope when it is found is valuable. This story provides an example of how to look at a situation differently, even when it is causing grief and despair.
