About the author

Born in Arlington, Texas and raised from the age of 5 in Atlanta, Georgia, Londyn first became interested in culinary arts at the very young age of 3 while watching her chef father cater for various events. Londyn Green is an African American with Canadian, Jamaican, and Native American roots. This rich family heritage is what fuels her love of food. It has become a way of life for her to the point where Londyn has even incorporated culinary arts into her regular school studies. She loves to immerse herself into the cultures of other people and ethnicities by studying the foods that they eat that are indigenous to their region and surroundings. Londyn comes from a family already engulfed within the industry, inspired to cook by her father who is a celebrity chef and a mother who is a radio news entertainment host / fashion designer. At the age of 10 Londyn first got her taste of international television, by ranking in the top 40 of the acclaimed television show MasterChef Junior, even beating out all the other cheftestants to become the forever face of MasterChef Junior Season 5. By the age of 12, Londyn was featured in her second internationally televised culinary competition, Top Chef Jr. Season 2 where she found success finishing as the season's Runner-up. Aside from her television success, Londyn has cooked with her father for celebrities worldwide including rap legend Chubb Rock, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, U.S. Senate Chaplain Barry Black, to Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss to name a few. With her mother, Londyn has achieved success as well by designing her very own fashion line of chef pants in which she wore and can be seen on Top Chef Jr season 2. Because of her love of food, Londyn appropriately named her fashion line, "Foodie Fashions Chef Wear. Londyn's immediate long term goal is to continue her culinary training and make the U.S. Culinary Olympic Team and compete in the Culinary Olympics. She also has aspirations to start her own Vegetarian/Vegan food truck and restaurant, author cookbooks, host her very own junior culinary competition, and become a very successful actress. Most of all Londyn desires to continue traveling and seeing the world. It's only a matter of time before the name "Londyn Green" is a world-renowned household name.
