A collaborative picture book created by twelve clever kids and one silly teacher!

Og is a happy ogre. He lives in a bog with his floofy dog and their carefree frog. Life is good...until the weather changes. 

What happens when their happiness gets lost in the fog?

Launched in October '22 at Sandy Spring Friends School, Illustrious Illustrators is an after-school club for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders to create collaborative picture books. Johnny Williams, club founder and third grade teacher, provides the stories while his brilliant students create the illustrations! Over eight weeks, club members examine mentor texts and artist portfolios to find creative inspiration.

All profits from the sale of Og will be donated to support the preservation and conservation of Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary in Lothian, Maryland.

Johnny Williams is a kid-lit writer living in Silver Spring, Maryland with an eye-level understanding of his young audience. During the day, he teaches third graders how to read and write at Sandy Spring Friends School. At night, he dreams up stories with his students in mind. Every one of them is a firehose of sweetness, humor, and unlaced insight!
