Not Forsaken

Marlene is such a blessing to survive her growing up in Brazil and her struggles. God had a plan for her so many years ago to bring her to the United States and find her true calling. She is such an inspiration to so many who have the same battles she had to overcome her fears. This book is going to set so many free from physical and mental abuse she suffered. When writing this book Marlene cried over every chapter and relived it again in her mind. She still cannot believe just how bad things were growing up in Brazil. After her mother died, she was shuffled from home to home after been giving away from her dad. Marlene learned at a very early age how to survive the daily fight and trust in everyday life. So many people took advantage of her taking her money she earned working in the fields and cleaning houses. Thinking she found love and getting pregnant to being alone having her baby to trying to find a place to live and keep her baby. This book tells how she had to fight to keep a room to live in and how to feed her and the baby every day and stop people from stealing from her. What a true story you only see in the movies but she actually lived it.
