About the author
I was born and raised in Dallas, Tx, in a small town outside of the city, called Hutchins. Growing up, my family was heavily into sports and athletics, but despite the attention it gained, I was always very introverted. Writing has always been a very natural form of communication for me, even as a child. I've always used writing as a tool to help me control my anxiety. As an adult, writing became more of a healing tool, carrying me through trails and life transitions with grace. I am a mother of two boys. After a nasty hospital fall following the birth of my second son, my entire life and quality of life was threatened. The healing hidden within creation became crucial for surviving this life changing events. I suffered from spinal trauma, postpartum depression, anxiety, and I hemorrhaged for 18 months. Because the hospital refused to help me, I anchored myself in my writing as I struggled to heal myself physically, mentally, and spiritually. With God's grace and guidance, discipline, and a plant-based diet I was able to survive a very difficult period. By the time I finish writing my book, or screenplay, or music, I feel as though my pains and struggles are distant memories. Naturi, the Plight of the Gods, was a concept that I had thought of two years prior to writing. When my marriage began to fall apart, I shifted my focus towards healing and building the foundational concepts for the series. This project helped me get through so much and I hope the readers enjoy some of the concepts that I am forming. It's my hope that readers choose to stick with me as I build out the characters and the entire storyline from start to finish. I enjoyed writing this book, and I hope that the readers enjoy the books and become fans.
