About The Author

A.T. Lilii was born and raised in Southern California. He is a 'guncle' (gay uncle) to one nephew and two nieces - whom he adores.  A.T. grew up in a fairly conservative/religious home, but later came out as gay as an adult in his late-20's. This book was written to begin introducing this topic to his nephew and nieces, in a simple and positive way. 


Brazilian-native, Eeki Saucedo now lives happily in Los Angeles alongside his husband. Eeki comes from an animation background and carries that creativity and skill into the illustrations of My Uncle & My Guncle. Eeki is also a 'guncle' to three niblings.
