Description
Welcome to my Montana! Although I don't technically own the last best state, I've considered it my home since I found my first huckleberry patch many years ago. Every trail I hike, every backroad I follow, every bird I scare, and every bear that scares me, Montana moves deeper into my heart. A decade ago, I picked up a camera to try to capture what I was feeling so that I could share that feeling with others, and this book is the result. In My Montana (Volume 1), nature photographs taken in Montana between 2010 and 2021 by J.C. Caruso are presented. Animal photographs include elk, bighorn sheep, pronghorn, bison, bears, squirrels, deer, coyotes, foxes, herons, hawks, owls, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, waterfowl, eagles, and a variety of insects from butterflies to ladybugs. Many other types of nature photographs are included (e.g., rivers, mountains), as are a few black and white and infrared photos. Keep an eye out for Volume 2 of My Montana, coming soon if the fates allow. Come enjoy the splendor of nature in the last best state!
