Overview
Mr. McKluskie is a passionate businessman who has opened his very own Mars Travel Agency in the local strip mall, complete with nine shiny new rockets parked out back and ready for lift-off! What will his first customers think of their journey to the red planet? It's a long way to a chilly place with no zoo or water park - but these adventurous travelers find joy in the special things that only Mars and a space adventure can offer.
Description
Mr. McKluskie has shocked the town by opening his very own Mars Travel Agency in the local strip mall. The journey is a long one but Mr. M's first MTA customers have packed their patience and are ready to enjoy all the space travel delights he has for them, like in-seat foot massages and all-you-can-drink fizzy stardust sodas. But has the eager businessman promised more vacation fun than the chilly red planet has to offer? Young readers will enjoy the colorful rhymes and cheerful illustrations while they imagine what a trip to Mars would really be like. Science-lovers especially will be awed by the real NASA photographs from past space missions, in this, the first book of the Wacky Entrepreneur Series.
About the author

Jennifer grew up and lived in Columbia, Missouri for much of her life until moving recently to Denver, Colorado. For twenty years she owned a photography studio and was never far from a camera. Writing became a passion a decade ago when Jennifer started writing for local magazines professionally, while quietly writing children's poetry and stories. Ever a fan of Walt Disney, Shel Silverstein, and Jim Henson, creating characters and storylines that make kids smile is a great joy for her. Jennifer is proud of her daughter Meara, and is grateful to her wobbly dog Parker and his predecessors for not letting her sleep in too late.  And she's still taking photographs around every corner, but these days they are usually of the many and beautiful animals on the planet.
