Mendacium

The Progenitor has stolen the only thing that matters to John and Naomi—their teenage son, Matthew. Trapped in the recesses of his mind, Matthew is held hostage by his maniacal overlord, Mendax, the Progenitor's viceroy. Leaping into Matthew's mind through the brain net known as Morpheus in order to rescue his son, John discovers an all too familiar place, the online game of Mendacium he helped write into existence. Abandoning all caution, John traverses the fantastical land in the hopes of reuniting his family. Both John and Matthew must surrender to the higher powers at play if they wish to have a chance of making it out alive.
