About The Author


Angela Noakes is quite the quirky Midwesterner, you know, one of those 'deplorables'. She lives with her husband, Dale and Louie, a 6-pound Chihuahua who allows her to write when he’s sleeping. Motivated by the idea that “common sense is no longer common", Noakes decided she was unable to idly sit by without sharing some of that archaic “common sense” said to be possessed back in the day, and that's how Megalomanic State was born. While primarily a political novel, she would never expect her readers to pick up a book without a little mystery, a little romance, and a little murder. Then, just for spice, a dash of common sense.
