MAMMA CLAIRE'S RECIPES

This book is a tribute to my Mom and Grandmother who loved cooking for friends and family. This book was the best way I could express my love for them and pass on a family legacy of great meals and memories. The recipes are simple but the secret ingredient is the love that they added to each dish. Included in this book are recipes as well as my first husband Bob's mother-(OMA) who was also a great cook. I am from a huge Italian family and OMA was from Austria and had come to the US as a young married woman in the 1930's. After the sudden passing of Bob, she helped me with my grief and moving on with my life. She was very happy for me when I married my current husband Ed. The family pictures throughout the book include every family member including my past husband Bob current husband Ed and my wonderful stepchildren and grandchildren who have to touched my life in a special way. The amount of each ingredient in many recipes is an estimate since there never was a written version of the recipe. Cooking is an "Art" and a recipe is only a roadmap so enjoy these recipes and have fun and experiment with them.
