Overview

I am an aspiring new author, educator, and entrepreneur.  During my career, I’ve observed the lack of diverse representation in today’s curriculum. It is important that all children see themselves reflected in literature.  I’ve embarked on creating stories that portray characters depicting a variety of diverse cultures.  Diversity and inclusion acknowledges our strengths and weaknesses but abounds in progress to achieve our goals.

This book benefits both younger and older readers. Illustrations combined with text provides a more invigorating reading experience that leads to great discussions, various levels of understanding, and stimulates creativity.

Description
Mama's parenting skills are put to the test when Omari breaks one of the most important family rules, with help from his brother and sister. Mama is determined to show her kids who's boss through her creative way of teaching them a lesson. But, even if Omari and his siblings learn their lesson, what will happen at Omari's big football game tonight?
