Susan had no idea how much her life was about to change as she heard the voice in the hall yell, “Fire! Fire!” on that cold winter morning. She could not know she would fall in love with that “kid” and have to choose between two men. Nor did she have a crystal ball to tell her of the car accident that would leave her face looking like hamburger. She did not yet know the people who would enter her and little Lindy’s life. So many changes were about to happen.
